consider very normal, imperfect day of ur life. u r walking down the road to railway station to catch train for ur office or college. on the way u meet a stranger. he says 'hi'. now u r not in a state to reply or even recognise tht person. coz u r being late to the train. u just carelessly say 'hi' and try to ignore him. but its not over yet. tht person now starts to walk alongwith u. he starts the conversation. u still dont remember the person. the station is still 5 min away. tht means tht person is gonna be with u for 5 more min. u start to walk fast while sating to the man ,'i hav to hurry, otherwise i ll miss train.'
he says,'no problem. i also hav to catch the train.' u r still searching in the compartments of ur brain for any faces tht looked like this person. so u r not really listening. just responding. after few seconds u start to doubt tht u hav seen tht person somewhere. but u dont remember the name. but u feel awkward to ask his name after almost 1 min of talking. u think tht if u ask his name, he will feel offended. u think let it be. anyways station is just few minutes away. tht person is saying tht he also wants to catch a train but his limbs are not as fast as urs. now u start to grow angry of tht person. u think something to break the conversation.
u ask him,'hey bro, by which train u travel?' without even bothering to answer this, he asks u which train u r gonna catch? now u think tht the person is just getting out of hand. but next moment u think tht anyway the station is getting near so i ll bear with him for just 1-2 mins more.
just as u r about to enter the station the person says,"hey where r u goin? arent we supposed to catch train on platform 1?"
u say,"no re. my train comes on platform 10."
hearing this; that person gets very angry and says,"then u must not be knowing me. then why the hell were u talking with me all the time?"
stunned; u start thinking backwards in time. yeah why the hell was i talking to him? hey w8 a min. i was not talking to him. HE was doing tht job of talking. u want to tell him tht he was such a nuisance and got the hell out of you but just when u r about to open ur mouth u hear the announcement of ur train. now what wil be ur choice? leave the train to hav a li'l payback? or just forget it and rush for ur train?

10 things i wont forget about my college
even if i left my 'engineering' college after four long @#$% years; i will still remember some things about my college. coz whatever is the college like i hav spent four years of my life there.
these are the ten things of my college. they are not according to hierarchy.
1) stairs @ law entrance:
this was the place where i and my friends used to sit to get some fresh air out of my classroom; usually after the lunch. coz if we wud hav directly went to classroom we wud hav readily fallen asleep.
2) canteen:
like many students from various colleges like their own respective canteen irrespective of how that canteen is; i also like my canteen very much. especially for the food quantity. some of my most fav dishes are misal, special lunch, and fried rice.
3) HMCT canteen:
this was the place where we used to run to drink water or eat some light after playing cricket. but most of the times we ended up eating pastries or cakes or doughnuts.
4) office:
i hav seen so many samples in my college office that it is simply impossible to forget it.
5) library:
there are two reasons for me not to forget library. one is because of librarians. and other is my friend ashish. i started to study in library in PL bcoz of him. and it was total fun. i must say my marks started increasing from the sem i started to go to library for studying.
6) HMCT ground:
i mentioned above tht we used to play cricket. all thanx to this ground. we not only played cricket on this ground, but also enjoyed Horizons on this ground.
7) Rangoli hotel:
although the hotel is not part of my college; but we went there to take treats from 'topper' amitesh. i dont remember how many treats we took from him. maybe 2 or 3. but after horizons we went there to take treat. and as usual no of people in hotel with us, was more than no of people who were together @ horizons. fokat ka khana kaun nahi chahega?
8) temple in college:
this temple was inaugurated when we were in first year. so that temple is four years old in that college just like we are. we had day off on tht day. but as i hadnt formed any group then, i remained in college till regular time was over.
9) medical college:
in last two sem there was some construction work goin on in my college. so we hav to go through medical college. now if u know whats there in medical college then u ll know why i m saying tht i cant forget medical college.
10) bus stop outside my college:
this one is last but not at all least. i hav heard many times tht u cant forget things which happen to u for first time. like first love, first job, first house etc. this was the place where i was first ragged. i still laugh when i remember tht. coz my ragging was unusual. normally freshers pleade to seniors to leave them. but in my case the senior ragging me got so irritated that he finally left away. whenever i ll visit my college i ll still laugh at this point of location.

i havnt mentioned friends in above list. its bcoz they are not things. they r my life. how can i forget them?

Life
now dont go literally on the title. this blog doesnt give any advise on how to live or rather how NOT to live. it wil just illustrate some imp points regarding life.
what is d basic requirement to live on? i wud say love. it is @ d base of evrything. we need something to live for. some may say we need food to live. its the basic requirement of body. not life. we require food to nourish our body. and we take the food as we love our body, unknowingly.
i hav heard someone say, 'we, the mankind, are social beings'. we need to live in a society. the reason is simple - we are afraid of being alone. afraid tht we wont get anyone to live for. anyone to love. when we r in society, we find many people, we meet many people. we find someone towards whom we get attracted. and then we get a motive to live for. its not only hard but also near to impossible to live without any ambition in life. the one who says he has no ambition has either havnt recognised his ambition or is lying or has reached divine status.
i hav a friend who once said to me tht it is impossible for him to live without friends. what are friends for? they make u feel better. they make u feel that u r important to someone. this feeling acts as a boost or catalyst in ur life. it makes u sense other peoples' feelings about u. it makes u think tht someone some where is always caring about u, waiting for u. this makes u feel better. i do not deny the importance of friends in life. but more important thing is being friendly. being frind is more important than having friend.
but i must say that if u hav read all this, then u know importance of love in life. this love can be of any form. like love of parent to child, friendship, siblings, husband to wife & vice versa etc. u need love to live in this world. so spread as much much love as u can to make this world a better place to live. what a nice sweet message to end the blog! i may become a good advisor!

Butterfly effect
hello
this blog comes after really looooong time. in between i had my exams. last one of engg. thank god its over. so now i m a free bird. free to enjoy a li'l. till the JOB starts. so i was watching movies this weekend. i watched the movie 'Butterfly effect'. really good movie.
the movie goes like this. there is a boy, who has got some blank-out periods in his life. these periods hide some very important memories of his. he grows up trying to cope with that. now he has got no blank-out periods for almost 7 years. the boy has a good habit of writing diary. so diary also has got blanks when he was blanked. one day he accidently comes across his diaries and starts reading.... he finds himself in place of the small kid i.e. himself at time of blank-out. now he is re-living the past. it changes future of himself and all of those who are linked with him anyway. so any small change he makes in his past changes so many lives.
he tries to save a kid and looses his own limbs. tries to save his dog, his friend gets killed. tries to save mom, looses girlfriend. everytime he tries to put evrything in place evrything changes, and somthing goes wrong. this is known as butterfly effect. according to this effect 'a butterfly in africa can cause storm in asia'. this effect came to existance when one scientist(dont remember the name.) was calculating something and didnt put the value of a constant to six decimals. he got all values opposite than expected, this was just because not putting three decimals more.
but now just imagine if u could change ur past like the one in movie, then what wil u like to do? means u shud do such a thing tht most of ur needs in future shud get satisfied. because more u change the past, more u wil suffer. when u change past, the memories wil change. that becomes very painful. just imagine all ur memories getting erased and rebuilt. that means even what u studied will go off. all those u hav met wil forget u and vice versa. ur best friend now can become ur worst enemy. ur strong point in ur studies can become ur weakest point. all this depends on how u change ur past. because seeds of past grow in trees of future. a small change in seed makes a gr8 change in whole tree.
so next time, if by mistake, u go thru a blank-out period or something like tht. just make sure to write tht down. who knows u may be able to change ur past!

what u 'can' do and what u 'do'
hello again. this blog comes after a long long time. as i had mentioned earlier, i was having one of the worst time in engg . my submissions! so didnt got time to do anything other than copying journal and assignments. anyways, now it is comin to an end so i m feelin a li’l relax now.
while i copy the journal and assignments i think tht, why i hav copy all this thing, if i could just finish them off before time? the immediate ans wil be there no time to get them done ‘before time’. many reasons are there. one of them could be not gettin the question on time. now think what we shud be doin. we shud go to teacher and get questions on our own. but.... in engg. this thing is a nightmare. coz getting answers directly from someone is far better than getting questions from someone. it makes u feel better.
anyways. think of something that u can do. (of course dont imagine anything wild, restrict urself to real world.) something tht u want to do and u think tht u can do it, if u try with evrythin u hav. got it? now think of something u r doin now. (like studyin something) are u doin the work with ur fullest? i heard somewhere tht winners dont do different things but they do things differently. differently in what sense? maybe hard work. maybe concentration. what exactly do they do differently? the difference comes from ‘what u can do and what u do.’ the difference occurs when u cant recognize ur potential.
i also read in a book tht normal human brain can store so much information tht if u want to store in a PC u wil need almost 2 storey memory device. of course with current advances in technology the size wud reduce to almost single storey. still, imagine power of human brain. of course we cant use all brain power, but still just imagining tht power can help us boost our performance. because i think we get tired too early just by thinkin how much study we did in one seating. its like u get tired just by thinkin tht u hav to walk 10 kms. u may not get tht much tired if someone doesnt tell u tht u r gonna walk 10 km and he makes u walk tht much without u even noticing it.
now after this much reading still if want to read more, then look the blog has started effecte on ur brain. ur patience has improved. now try this patience on study book. and next time onwards dont waste time reading the heading!

No comments!!!!
hello evryone. just a week ago, when i was watching news channel; i heard someone saying, “No comments!!” then i recognized tht we all hear this sentence fairly good no of times. what exactly someone means when he/she uses this sentence? we all must be knowing power of words. the words ‘no’ and ‘comments’ do not hav tht much effect when used individually. but when put together; it creates a great potential. apparently the sentence is negative, but it may result being a positive response. moreover these two words save u many times if u learn to use them correctly and ‘frequently’.
now the above question again. what does 'no comments' means? does it mean 'yes'? not exactly. then does it mean 'no'? again not perfect. the real potential of these words lie in its meaning. like a chameleon; the word camofalgues itself to the situation in which it is used. so i said that u should learn to use it correctly. so tht it will be effective.
why u need to use this word frequently? an old phrase says - 'practise makes man perfect.' i mean women also. so when u practise something it becomes ur habit. tht thing comes out of u, naturally. whenever u r caught up in an conflict u shud just say by reflex 'No Comment' when u wil master this u will enjoy the look on the face of the person who asked u the question.
and last but not the least:- never ever use these words again and again for same person in successive days. this will just irritate tht person and tht person's anger might just explode. when u are gonna practise this, always find a new bakra or find one having lots of patience.

Expectations!
hello once again. it took some time for this blog to get ready; coz i had my results coming on. for an engg. student; submissions, exams and results are the worst times in whole sem.
anyways i was talking about expectations. like normal student i had my expectations for the results. but i forgot tht an engg student is NOT a normal student. he doesnt hav any rights to even look like a normal student. one day one of friend had gone for medical checkup. he was asked whether he smokes. he said 'no'. 'drinkin?' 'no' then the medical person said 'then definitely drugs! u r an engg student! how can it be? no drugs, no drikin, no smokin, not possible' i mean what the hell? is evry engg student supposed to do tht? these r their expectatins.
i read a message one day. dont expect anything from life, expectations hurt. when u dont expect, evry moment is a surprise and gives u happiness. how true! has anyone thot of it ke 'y we feel hurt?' or y we feel sad? its when u dont get something u expected. this is the key. when u expect something and u dont get it, u feel depressed. but when u dont expect and u get something u just enjoy it. so never expect anything, unless u r damn sure about something.
there is one more aspect to this expectations. when u are confident, u except more. if u get what u r expecting u feel more confident in urself. otherwise u start doubting on ur own abilities, which is far worse. u shud always know ur limit, ur abilities, ur reach etc. the most important thing is, u shud not loose ur faith in urself. u must remain confident in urself. one more thing if u started doin a thing, dont look back. dont hesitate in completing it. if u leave it halfway it will destroy u more than it wud if u r not upto ur expectations. coz when u r not upto ur expectations, at least u hav completed that work. think tht u wil try more nxt time. and if possible dont keep expectations this time.

Fear!!
before readin further just close ur eyes and think about ur deepest fear. the thing which worries u most or the thing of which ur most afraid of. it can be anything. like being alone in darkness. it even can be weird thing like the puppet from movie ‘saw’. one of my friend is afraid of it. now as the thing which u fear most is in mind, read further.
all of us hav some kinda fear. whats exactly is this fear? fear is some intense emotion which almost controls our brain. evry human being has some kind of fear. there is no one in this world without at least a fear. tht happens only in fancy world or comic world.the trick is how earlier u learn ur fear and try to compensate it.
there is a great chanakya quote about fear : - ‘as soon as the fear approaches near, attack and destroy it.’ this literally means to conquer ur fear. for tht u must know what u r afraid of. now nxt thing is how to destroy it? it becomes simple once u learn about ur fear. basic thing about fear is tht we keep thinkin about it. as if we are reminding ourself about the fear. destroying a fear means trying as much as possible not to think bout it.
there is one more aspect to the fear. basically what is significance of this fear in human life? does anybody know how a child knows not to touch electric plug? its coz we put fear in child’s mind bout tht plug. there are many things from which we r being protected just coz we r afraid of ‘em. so like many other things fear also has two sides to it. it makes a person weak but it also protects tht person from some known/unknown dangers.

are u really a movie freak? test it
hello again
let me start with the basics of a movie freak. u keep thinkin of a movie even after about a day after watchin the movie. or u imagine urself in tht movie in place of a character u like or u think is like u. or u even think tht the things happening in movie are gonna happen with u. one more way is tht u think so much bout it tht u start dreamin bout it.
for example one of my friend started suspectin things around him as cause of his death as shown in movie ‘final destination’. thts the way a true movie freak behaves! it all depends on how u watch a movie. it also depends on ur concentration while u watch the movie. it also depends on numorous things like whether the movie has got potential to keep u stuck at ur seat or not etc.
but if u r a true movie freak u wil watch a movie no matter how much u dislike it. obviously one factor is tht u hav paid the money for ticket. but a true movie freak has got enough patience to seat thru all the boring hours of movie and watch it. later on its useful to comment on it.if u r not a movie freak u may just close the window or if u r watching movie in theatre u may come out in interval. just like tht! not watchin movie til end may proveharmful if u want to be a movie freak.

Should Harry Potter really die in last installment?
now its not a news anymore tht harry is gonna die in last installment of the series-'harry potter and deathly hallows'. is it necessary to kill him to end the series?
many potter fans wud obviously say NO. but one shud think from authors point of view. in one interview J.K.Rowling had stated tht she doesnt want any other author to start harry potter again. so if he gets killed then there wud not be any other series by some other author by the name 'harry potter'. actually this is right. no one in this world wud want his invention maybe scientific or any other type to be wasted by some other person. no one wil hav tht much knowledge and respect for the invention as its inventor wil hav. so she thinks tht the name 'harry potter' may get spoiled if any other author writes using it.

Are we really proud to be an Indian?
Yesterday was our republic day. Our madam told us to come for flag hoisting and said, “Ek din toh desh bhakti dikhao!”. See! Now a days people have to be reminded to ‘show’ their love for their country. Anyways I saw many street vendors selling flags. Those small flags which u can were on your shirt for one day and then forget about being not so costly thing. Those flags cost at the max Rs. 10. So people usually don’t try to search it once it is lost. They think that ‘thik hai yaar, agale saal naya kharidenge!’ What a loss!
Has anybody thought what happens to those lost flags? They lay on roads. Numerous people, vehicles walk past over them. Flag is not such a cheap thing which can be used and thrown away once the ‘show off’ day is over. Flag is our country’s proud. Many of you must have watched movies based on wars. In them soldiers give highest priority to flag. Priority even over their own life! And we are so much used to the flag that we use it like normal cloth. You can just take a walk on road today and see many flags lying on road.
I personally think selling of flags at so cheap rate should be banned. Flags should not be available so easily and cheaply. Either stop flag selling at streets or raise the flag rates. If people buy flag at higher rate they will think that it is an important thing. And if it is lost they will think before buying new one.
I appeal to all of you that respect your flag. Either don’t buy it or if you do, take a good care of it.

Properties of number 9
9 is a very powerful no. in maths. It has got max. properties which are useful in numerous ways. To start with-a very simple one. Addition of digits of no divisible by is also divisible by 9. e.g. consider 587646:- addition is 36 divisible by 9. For 36:- addition is 9.
Now when u add digits of a no.(no. of any length) and subtract addition from original no u get a no which divisible by 9. e.g. consider 58364 addition is 26. 58364-26=58338 its divisible by 9(check it if u want.)
Take a no. Add its digits. Now add 9 in original no. Again add the digits of addition. This addition and previous will be same. e.g. 69830 addition 8. Adding 9 we get 69839. Addition 8!
When u multiply by 9 or 99 or 999 etc:-
The multiplication is most simple. U just have to do is subtract 1 from that no, write it down. Then subtract given no from nearest power of 10 and write it down.
e.g. 8*9=8-1 | 10-8=72
278*999=278-1 | 1000-278 = 277722
This is because 9 or 99 or 999 is (10-1), (100-1), (1000-1)
Its very easy to find inverse of no ending with 9. Inverse of 9 is 0.11111111 That of 99 is 0.01010101 and of 999 is 0.001001001 etc.
For no containing other no than nine we can use following technique
Consider 1/29. For this first we need to write 0.0 then start dividing 10 with 3(2+1). While dividing for next no consider new remainder with new quotient.
e.g.
Method:-1/29=0. 0 3 4 4 8 2 7 5 8 6 2 0 6 8 9 6 5 5 1 7 2 4 1 3 7 9 3 1
Remainders are :-1 1 1 2 0 2 1 2 1 0 0 2 2 2 1 1 1 0 2 0 1 0 1 2 2 0 0 0

Forgetting!
This is my second post. It comes after long long time. But frankly speaking i had forgotten to write the topic or even think about a topic!
I recently watched this movie by the name- hmmmmmm Oh shit! I have a gr8 habit of forgetting, forgetting anything that is forgettable (in literal sense i.e. all things except vital things) now I have forgot the movie name. I wanted to start this with a good scene from that movie. But......... Anyways, one of friends said that I am gonna have a very tough time with my GF, IF I get one! Reason : I keep forgetting everything.
Ha got it! Its 'Memento'. Gr8 movie. Its about a man who has got a condition in which he cant make any new memories. This happenes to him in an accident. So he cant make new memories after that accident. I m happy that at least i m better than the character of that movie. The guy in the movie cant remember what happened 2 mins before!
See now i had forgotten the topic. I was talking about forgetting. Is it a boon or curse? I personally think its boon upto some extent. B'coz u can just 'I forgot' if u hadnt done anyhing which u were supposed to do. Just imagine u not forgetting anything - i mean anything. It can be any unpleasant moment which u were very happy to forget. Just thing of experiencing the pain again and again in ur mind like experiencing the same moment again and again. Its 'forgetting' due to which we can go ahead in life by going past previous sorrows. Otherwise that li'l thing called Brain (although having almost TeraBytes of memory) will overflow with all those moments just like ur computer memory becomes not large enough when ur storage increases. Its 'forgetting' which works as disk cleaner of ur brain and keeps u fresh.
So next time time u say 'I forgot' just think of what it means to ur body!

Forwarded mails!!!!!!!!
Hello friends;
All of must be having Email account. Hence u must be familiar with the mail options. Mainly ‘Forward’! This is a very beautiful option if u use it perfectly and for good cause. Means it proves to be good if u use it in helping others, by spreading some news (not rumors of course), or gyaan about the things which u and ur friends might not be knowing etc.
But this very option ‘Forward’ becomes a nuisance when it comes to forwarded mails or popularly known as ‘chain mails’. Imagine a person checking mail once in a week or month in a cyber café. What will he feel if he sees a hundred nonsense mails to be checked in about an hours time. Especially when the mails are heavily loaded with attachments like photos of certain idols! It takes a lot time to open these mails completely. That means most of the precious time is taken up by these non sense, not at all useful mails. If a person is using broadband and that too at home then it’s a piece of cake for him as he has got enough speed to open the mail and click on the ‘forward’ caption in measurably less time.
I don’t have any objection for the mails, which give some information. Recently I read a mail, which tells about a law by which a woman can deny going with male police even if police has arrest warrant. I really didn’t know about such a law! I think these mails have right to be forwarded. But many times I get mails like ‘u are blessed by so and so lord. Send this mail to 20 more person otherwise u will fail in exams.’ What a crap! Its as if my examiner is keeping a close watch on mail account; whether I am forwarding such mails or not. Or the lords are having their filters installed in network to decide on whom to shower blessings and not on whom.
I just can’t imagine people believing such crap and sending it to their friends to make their life a bit harder. Best way to fight this is ignore such mails. I have done it loads of times still I am fit enough to write all this and get spell check done in word. So plz don’t forward faltoo chain mails. Please! Please!! Please!!!
